Events often happen in our lives that give us ideas and beliefs about the world. These beliefs create patterns, and make life feel uncontrollable. For example, maybe you often find yourself in the same kinds of relationships. Maybe you cannot break out of a certain routine or kick a habit, even though you know you aren’t happy. Maybe you have certain beliefs about yourself that you wish you could change.

Meaning is created when you live your life “authentically”: by that, I mean being able to examine the unconscious causes of your negative patterns so you can start to control them.
